step 1: system requirements
LuxRender runs on all recent computers running OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or 10.6 (Snow Leopard). The program does not run on older computers using a G4 or G5 processor or on OSX 10.4 or lower.
step 2: download LuxRender (v0.7)
Please note that this release supports only OSX 10.5 and above on Intel processors.
step 3: open and run the installer
The file you just downloaded contains an installer that will install LuxRender. Optionally, it will also install LuxBlend, the exporter for Blender. Please pay careful attention to the instructions in the installer.
step 4: select and install an exporter
If you're using Blender, the installer should have installed the proper exporter already. If you're using another program, please select the program to install the exporter for:
