| Summary | 0000819: Multiple UV coordinates |
| Description | Currently LuxRender only supports a single UV-set per mesh. This places a limit on artistic possibilities as doesn't allows to mix low-detail textures (lowres with large UV scale) with high-detail textures (lowres with small UV scale) -- all textures must have the same resolution, which just leads to wasted RAM and can be prohibitively memory-consuming. For a clear usecase see this post: http://www.luxrender.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=30295#p30295 [^] |
