| Summary | 0001209: REQ: RGBA framebuffer for the GUI |
| Description | Currently, the GUI does not display the rendered image with alpha. Areas with alpha=0 appear black. This makes it very awkward to see if your alpha channel was properly set up and get an idea as to what it is you are REALLY rendering, and many new users might get confused as to what is really happening.
It would be very helpful if the alpha was used to composite the framebuffer over the background. LordCrc built a functional prototype of such a thing once, but it was never committed for some reason (I forget why now) |
