Allrighty, I see the issue. Fixing it may be tricky though. We'll have to bake the matrices ourself in this case. The problem is I don't fully understand the interaction with dupli-things during export, as such I can't just modify object_anim_matrix() to return the baked matrices.

For now I think we'll have to document this as a limitation, and ask that users ensure every object they want to have motion blur on has at least one keyframe.

Object motion blur caused major problems in version 1.0RC3. Objects appeared black and after a few seconds of rendering (as it would appear from task manager) one thread locks up, doesn't allow other threads to continue and continuously allocates an increasing amount of memory.

Also, I tried out version 0.9 (that was saved on my hard drive some time back) and motion blur in it appears to be working correctly, no need to add dummy keyframes. EDIT: it was a duplicated object, it had keyframes I forgot about.

Outcome does seem related. I found no configuration that would help in my case but motion blur appears to be triggering the same error.
