Rendering chromium

Postby fanou » Sun Oct 19, 2008 6:36 am

Hi,

Does anyone know the material parameters to render chromium ?

I have read in the forum that chromium and other metals were part of old releases.
What was the reason of this removal ?

Furthermore, I discovered a little bug in the code of version 0.5. Sorry, I am not able to check in the last CVS if it is still here.

materials/metal.h, line 51:
static string DEFAULT_METAL = "aluminum";

You can use .nk files (such as the one found here) for other metals. Simply use the filename for the "name" parameter.

edit: thanks, fortunately the bug was purely cosmetical :)
