Hello,

I am interested in helping out with icons as well as user documentation. I sent a message to Radiance, but I've not received a response. I have been a professional /full time designer for most of the past 7 years. I've done print, web and product design, now back in school after an engineering degree. My website http://codygo.com has more information about what I can do. I also have a maxwell render license, so I have some experience with unbiased renderers, 3d modeling.

I think it souldn't be a selection by vote ! By only an creative vision of what must be the next generation of the GUI interface...maybe a feature for the 0.6 version ? 8-)

i know that's not the focus at the moment, advanced fonctionnalities are essential !!! :D

Just one small question:
does FLTK support GUI elements drag'n'dropping (tabs for example...)?

Wich is the FLTK in use for it ? is it 2.0x ? or the 1.1x one ?
EDIT: it's 1.1x...just reading about it ...sorry 8-)

I think the tabs are not free to move in the panel (fixed width), but it's not really important, just see if it can be "open" or "close" ! as we can do a sort of dynamic menu !

For ex:
Creates a new Fl_Tabs widget using the given position, size, and label string. The default boxtype is FL_THIN_UP_BOX.

I think we are not FLTK-limited ;) Other toolkits can help (QT-GTK...), the only constaints are :
-Compatible with GPL
-Multiplatform

But FLTK has the advantage of being very light...the 'GUI Coordinator' will decide the way to choose ;)

QT (http://trolltech.com/) has a strange license, but I think that is usable in GPL, it very used.
GTK+ (http://www.gtk.org/) is quite difficult to work with it, but famouse project like gimp use it.
FLTK (http://www.fltk.org/) it's light, quite simple to programming, but isn' very nice to view
FoxToolkit (http://www.fox-toolkit.org/), it's relative new, nicly to view, I never use it
wxWidget is very diffuse and is like a wrapper around system graphic API, so every use can feel at home.
