Luxmark 2.0 error on submitting results

Postby claunia » Sat Mar 10, 2012 4:21 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to submit some results of Luxmark 2.0 with the wiki provided binary for Linux x64 and I get the following error:

"Submission error: URL takes POST requests only"

I've tried on other machines on the same network and results are submitted flawlessly.

This machine is Linux 3.2.9-gentoo amd64.

Is some kind of anti-virus/firewall active ? Are other machines working fine, installed with the same Gentoo ?

No antivirus or firewall.

I've installed other two Gentoo and same error.

On command line you see QT informing that as no content-type has been set for POST, octect-stream will be used.

Other machines on the same network (Windows and Mac OS X) have no problem.

Mmm, have you compiled LuxMark on the Gentoo or are you using the pre-compiled binary ? The LuxMark binary has been compiled on an Ubuntu and the source of the problem may be there.

I'm using the precompiled one. (It works on a Debian).

Will try to compile it on Gentoo.

I confirm this problem. Unfortunately I also run luxmark on gentoo :) But I verified with tcpdump that application sends well formed POST request. Maybe some field or content-type confuse the server. Server responds with bad message at least.

Well, I've fixed this bug. Patch is attached to bug report http://www.luxrender.net/mantis/view.php?id=1223.

Thanks Const, I will add the patch in v2.1 branch. I assume the extra code is required by Qt 4.8.1 (the old code was working fine with 4.7).

By the way, 4.8.1 is keyworded in Gentoo. :P
