Stupid media misuse. No, you shouldn't be worried. Had they said "cracked", then I would have been a little more concerned.

While Pilchard123 is an active contributer on the forums and on IRC, he's not an official dev at the time of writing.

In any case, dev or no dev, I think it's important to remember we're all volunteers here :)

Doug used the term hack referring to the "trick" used to have the same login information over all the services (forum, wiki, gallery, LM database, etc.) available on luxrender.net. The login information isn't store in a single point but duplicate over multiple database (i.e. the "trick").

Actually, the user account record exists only in one place, but the various apps (forum, wiki, lrmdb and luxmark) all have different permissions tables that need to be updated.
