jendrzych's x-ball is VERY cool too ; maybe a black/white logo fits better when applied on different images.

since this is becoming another one of those logo race posts,
i decided to have a go

i started with jendrzych's X-Ball (very nice and it does'nt seem to fit well
with the current logo text (mammagamma font).

had a little play with the few fonts i have here and came up with this,
it uses 'Neuropolitical' as the luxrender font and 'Myriad' and the small 'gpl unbiased renderer' font...

The black one is nice, though I liked the filled black ball with the white cross more.

Nice layout, though there's sth wrong with font.
Will play a little with it when get some free time...
