I have by mistake uploaded my work "silence" to the wrong gallery. I thougt an administator would put ist at the right place. Is it now disqualified since it is not anymore an original work? Or can I still upload it to the right place?

Obvious the upload of my marple_wood-material failed. If I download it from the Database, it has a size of 7.1 kb. If I save it out of Blender on disk it's size is 14.1 kb. There is still no preview available. Please, can some one remove it form the Material-DB, so that I can try the upload again?

No, I don't think it will be disqualified
I'd say just upload it directly to the right competition gallery. Binarycortex can decide wether to delete the other picture or just leave it, I think.

The thumbnail doesn't show, you have to click "download file" to see the image

I tried fixing it, but it didn't like what I tried to do. Can you please re-upload. Use the defaults and I will transfer over the description and delete the old one when the new one is in there.

Also, I am going to extend the competition to 3 months, because this is going to benefit everyone.

Not a chance of disqualification. Besides that wasn't a requirement for this competition. I don't care what you use. But new works are always welcome.

Hehe, there are some great materials in there so far. I think this may have to be a re-occurring competition. Perhaps even a textures only competition in the future. Who knows.

A textures only competition would be great, than I would not have to make a material to each good texture I want to submit...
