Hi,
I upload the material to the database, but I don't know how to set up the category?
I only need to add comment for the authorizer to sort it?

And because I originally think that I will have to upload the preview myself...
so I render this image out

Image

Maybe it could save some time for the database manager?

When you upload it there is already a device that renders the materials preview for the Materials Database. In this case, it will be placed into the Competition Category, then sorted to the correct library after?

Hi,

something is wrong with my upload to the gallery here: gallery2.php?g2_itemId=19061
The thumbnail doesn't show, you have to click "download file" to see the image :|
Binarycortex, could you please look into this?

You could have used shinymetal for the windows like SATtva did here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7417#p73828

Regarding the thumbnail thing...
How hard to render is your material? How long ago did you upload it? Might it still be rendering the thumbnail? Just some ideas.

No, it's not the preview render in the materials db, but the thumbnail in the competition gallery. The preview render is already up (I let the db renderer run the last hour).

SATtva did an incredible work in his project... shinymetal can effectively be a better choice. Unfortunately there are only 2 days left to the end of the competition and I'm working on a new (another!) project ;) .
However, the most important material of the Camaro is Carpaint, naturally.
