2011 renders

Postby zukazuka » Fri Oct 07, 2011 10:05 am

I don't think I've posted any artwork recently so here are some recent renders that are work in progress...

some of them have areas that seem very overexposed and too bright... not sure why... a lot of them use "sun light". It seems like just sun reflecting off a white surface and maybe there are dark areas in the image and the tone mapper is underexposing to compensate for the dark areas. I don't think I noticed it as much with previous versions... rendered with 0.8 final blender 2.57

It is important not to have any part of the color defintion for your materials be over 0.8 - 0.9. Keep in mind that a sheet of white paper is 0.8.
I wrote this up mostly for new users. But it's a handy reference.
