Have you checked the search paths?

i don't know what is that, can you be more specific?

anyway i cleaned again and extracted the deps, then tried to compile the deps, but i get a number of errors, i checked the libs registry paths and made sure they are OK, i have msvcsp1 2008 pro in trial state, should that effect compiling?
should i patch the msvcsp1 with attached patch or not??

thanks for helping :)

i got to solve the last error in the above post, and compiled the x86 successfully, but still i can't compile the x64 one, i get this error 4 times:
Code: Select all
Error   42   fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'luxrays.lib'   pylux3   pylux3
Error   43   fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'luxrays.lib'   luxmerger   luxmerger
Error   45   fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'luxrays.lib'   luxconsole   luxconsole
Error   46   fatal error LNK1181: cannot open input file 'luxrays.lib'   luxrender   luxrender

i tried to build luxrays project only and it did build OK, then the whole project and get the same above errors.and i tried deleting the project cache, but no use.
any one knows what should i do to get things building again??

Hmm I've never experienced that... :(

DOH! I didn't test x64, I compiled win32, that's why I didn't get this error. It was a simple typo. I've fixed it, pull and update :)

Hi,

You either need to install the OpenCL SDK for your video card or disable OpenCL from the build.

Dougal recently did some changes to the build scripts to support the new CUDA SDK, perhaps that's related?

i changed to cuda 4.0, but if that is the case, then it shouldn't compile the x64 one (which it did successfully!)!
more so it builds liblux with no errors on the x86!

should i revert to cuda 3.0 to build the x86 one?
