Accurate comparison with a photograph implies accurate measurement of the materials properties (lights, walls, floor and glass in your case).
And as said, v0.6 contains various bugs that might cause inaccurate rendering and misses features like volumetric absorption which is mandatory for correct glass rendering. I strongly suggest you move on to v0.8.
