The newest one Catalyst Software Suite 11.3

I dont know how to check if there is a failure to allocate memory for data store associated with image or buffer objects specified as arguments to kernel. I'll be very grateful if you give me some tips how to check it.

Do you have any configuration out of the ordinary like multiple monitors and/or some very high resolution ? It could lead to not have enough free video ram.

Mmmm, you could use SLG to try to investigate the problem. For instance changing the kind of accelerator used to trace rays from QBVH to BVH could solve your problem. It is a test easy to do with SLG, does it work on your PC ?

SLG runs without any problem on default settings, but when I choose both CPU and GPU in "OpenCl devs:" I get the same error as in LuxRender: "Rendering thread ERROR: clEnqueueNDRangeKernel(CL_MEM_OBJECT_ALLOCATION_FAILURE)"

I'm not getting hybrid rendering to work with 0.8rc3 on my MacBookPro (vid card is Nvidia GeForce GT 330M). I
edit the .lxs file that I get from Daz Studio -> Reality 1.2 as explained in the original post, then launch LuxRender.
However, after the file loads, the render remains blank and the GPU usage remains at 0%.
So far, I've tried with various combinations of mesh, spot, and IBL lights. Any assistance would be appreciated!

If you got the rc3 OSX very early, try reload it, we had a little glitch in luxrays at buildtime, so i reuploaded a corrected rc3.

Afraid that didn't help. Just to make sure I'm not doing something stupid, here is the tail end of my .lxs file
after editing:

Sampler "metropolis"
# "float largemutationprob" [0.40]

SurfaceIntegrator "path"
"string lightstrategy" ["one"]
VolumeIntegrator "single" "float stepsize" [1.0]

Renderer "hybrid"

WorldBegin
Include "hybrid.lxm"
Include "hybrid.lxo"
WorldEnd

Can you post a .zip with all files (.lxs/.lxm/lxo) of a simple scene showing the problem ? So we can directly check if the problem is in some parameter definition or something else.
