yeah i know it's annoying is'nt it
i'll see if i can turn it off somehow, there does'nt seem to be an option for it in the control panel,
will have to make some code level tweak i guess...
anyways, there's currently no support for more than 1 UV map per object.
although you use different types of mapping (UV, planar, cylindrical, spherical) on different textures of 1 object. (see the scenefile docos)
