no dude, your CPU is fine.
I have checked the exporter code and the mltpath option is still present, so just avoid using mltpath and you'll be fine.

YEAH!
Now the render bottom works, but the material preview not... maybe it continues to use mltpath by default...

exactly, the mat preview is hardcoded to use mltpath,
