@SATtva,
I just merged both your LuxBlend patched into LuxBlend 0.7 branch.

Just thought I should let you guys know that this build under WinXP 32-bit still has the network rendering problems where it doesn't transmit the files to render if you're connected to another computer already. Though, I think this is supposedly resolved as of 12/30/09 by Dade, but it just hasn't been built yet for Windows systems. :roll: It also seems to crash the remote rendering app when it calls for the finished samples and does not fully align the computers, even if it says they are.

Also, I seem to be experiencing some odd problems where .jpg textures will load, but don't actually render for whatever reason. See attached for details.

Main rendering computer: Windows XP SP3 32-Bit, AMD Turion 64 1.8Ghz CPU, 1.5GB DDR memory (1.4 usable), ATI Radeon 200M chipset laptop from 2005. Pretty much ancient.

The 10pix site seems to be not working; you can attach your images directly to your forum posts :)

Hi,

What are the render times, samples/pixel, or other relevant metrics for each render? Also note that the differences between v0.6RC1 and v0.6.1 are huge, the balance between lights is completely different (notice the huge boost of the ceiling light).
With the V0.7 snapshot, the issue with Schlick is quite visible, is that with the latest build? Note that mix material has been reversed in the latest v0.7 snapshots (0 means only mat2 with v0.6 but it means only mat1 with v0.7) so you might get vastly different results if you don't pay attention.

render time for RC1 i think is about 1 week(it was long ago - i don't remember). Other renders was rendering about 8 hours.
