often with 3D cars they make a nice clay render to show how it looks. :D

Can you make windows version psychotron?

Hi,

Hey, it's not GPU acceleration we're talking about, just a CPU based (experimental) IGI integrator :)

hey poncho I can't make windows build.. I don't have windows anymore and don't know how to do it too :)
but there is documentation for building lux on windows.. perhaps you could try it http://www.luxrender.net/wiki/index.php ... on_Windows

The IGI integrator is now available in LuxRender, but not yet in LuxBlend.

could you perhaps show a render when it's working on your PC and how fast it is? :)

Then, have your ever considered implementing LIghtcuts as well?
In case if you did, I think this might be helpful (since it is PBRT based too):

In my opinion, MLT-based VPL distribution + properly implemented Lightcuts might be unbeatable pair both in terms of quality and productivity.

heh I was wondering too if lux have lightcuts and if not it would be great for that many VPLs created
