I used your settings from the first post but I'll get:

Error: Unable to decode type for token "int maxconsecrejects" Line 17, file /meshlight_caust.lxs
Warning: Type of parameter "int maxconsecrejects" is unknown Line 17, file /meshlight_caust.lxs

but it still renders. Will post a picture in 20mins :)

hmmmm,

must be a linux/unix parsing issue...
it will revert to the defaults though which is what i pasted in the post... so everything should be fine with your render ;-)

It seems EXR output is now fixed too!

**EDIT**
No Infos about rendertime, because I was doing this renderings while,
working, gaming and and and on my dual AMD with 2 x 2ghz...

but thanks to everyone ! ;-)

This render cooked for ~2.5 hours with MLT on.
I was getting heaps of fireflies before due to the transparent plastics in the scene,
now it seems to render really well.

this scene is'nt tuned material wise, and there's heaps of problems with faces (like the lego heads),
which are modeling faults, the engine seems to produce a correct result tho...

I guess the implementation is quite stable, more tests please ;-)

I guess we'll have MLT in RC3 ! ;-)

Hey Zom-B,

thanks!,

can you make another one of your glasses scene with MLT on and ~425 muts / pixel
and add this option to the MLT/path options ?

Code: Select all
"bool rrforcetransmit" ["false"]

it should fix the bright bases of your glasses which don't look very kosher (i think)

thnx!,
