Hey, guess when this finishes? A week after my last exam. YAY! So, I might enter and finally release something, but probably not. Even if I don't get done in time to enter, at least it will give me a reason to put something out there.

What resolution are these supposed to be in? I assume we are still using 1000x600 like in past splash contests?

Can we use custom flavours of Lux provided they are based on recent sources? Like say I was to shoehorn some code in to sharpen up caustics in an area, would that count as "RC1.0 or higher"?

I'd say only stock code must be used. Precompiled or self-compiled binary doesn't matter, but without non-committed modifications.

I agree, the splash screen should show the abilities that the Lux the people can use has, not some not contributed extra stuff (nothing against your work though!).

a fast question: does SPPM support volumetric scattering (homogeneous volumes)?
In general, which are the limitations of features of SPPM compared to BiDirectional?
