Hi,
Not sure if this is a glitch or a deliberate change in behavior:
As everyone knows, matte translucent materials have an 'energy conserving' mode where the transmission light is whatever remains after the reflection color is taken into account. Before the most recent revision this transmitted light was always white (so long as you didn't manually adjust the color swatch), regardless of what color was in the reflection channel. Now it seems that the transmission is tinted the complimentary color of whatever the reflection color is. For example, I am designing some drapes for a room scene. The drapes are a light tan, which is set in the reflection channel. When I engage 'energy conserving', the transmitted light takes on a slightly blue tone (with the transmission color set to full white). Needless to say this isn't what happens in real life, and it makes the energy conserving mode unusable in many situations.
