Hi Lubbe, yes you can do this fairly easily manually, which means... It should be pretty easy for me to make it in sketchup... but I have an exam tomorrow and one the day after, so I don't have time atm But yes my plan is to add in lights soon. I'm actually going to do some arch-vis work during the holidays when I finish school, so I would like to get su2lux up to some kind of standard. So rest assured this little tool won't be abandoned any-time soon
Any chance light objects have been created? I tried to experiment with Render[in] http://www.renderin.com/ but no such luck of it working. It was worth a shot. But something similar would be nice. Just create an object, turn object in to a group and then turn it into a light source.
I dont know much (very little) about RUBY but want to have the function that you want so I start to tweak the current exporter myself. So attachment is my fixed one.
How: if you want to manage multiple light sources not only sky and sun, please change material type to LIGHT. I added LIGHT GROUP field (to seperate light source by material) in LIGHT properties. You have to put a number (NOT TEXT, sorry for my bad RUBY). So when you render you will have LIGHT material separated with name like 1,2 or 3...
