Maybe there is an issue with the portal, are you sure its pointing the right way?

The arrow of the portals are pointing towards the interior. I actually got frustrated yesterday because i couldn't get it to work.

This looks different compared to my render. Mine shows a very bright portal. Anyway im gonna do more trial and error later and hopefully get it to work.

Hy;
When I Use your scene, I have an Error
- - unknow property: "exterior" in $LO_sky:LRsky001 @ [216,633270,589.323608,28.251127]

When I use the empty scene floor + lr Sky or LR sun I have
this message !
- - unknow property: "exterior" in $LO_sky:LRsky001 @ [216,633270,589.323608,28.251127]

I use 1.0 rc2 max 2011 64 and PLY_64_2010.dlx

In the forum thre more and more info, but only for blender
any explanations on the use of lights SKY LR LR Sun,
frankly because of this lack of documentation, it loses a huge time
it is painful

thank for your help

yes I perfectly followed the installation instructions that are very simple,

in general luxrender works perfectly,
remote work lights, work lights infinite,

by cons impossible for me to use SUN LR, LS sky,
I say that the variables sky, sun, and apparently Sunsky not find a connection with the objects ...

it is in the file fn_export_luxlights.ms which is in the script directory / Luxmax
a loop:
if (obj.exterior! = undefined) do

when I open the file amk_house above or that I place myself an LR sun or sky I have this error message

Oura !
I found,

with 3D studio max 2011 64 bit there are two directories
the program directory and that is install the software or

For my part I have to install 7 files in the archive installation
(Script directory)
in the file or script is installed 3D Studio Max, d: \ software ect ...
while the file and starts the Plugins 3D Studio Max is in the program directory DIXIT 64 Bits.

processing begins so cool

made in 3D Studio Max version 64-bit working on two installation directories ...
Script plugins and settled partly in a directory: software 3D Studio Max and another part in another directory on 3D Studio Max c: program

it is a bit complicated to manage focntionnement of add_ons but it works like this

cons from anywhere in the installation procedure is noted.

yes yes yes :P
it works great,
I was a little hard done by he is not that bad reviews for the architecture,
Bah ! 15 minutes to an entire scenes basics and it is apparently far from finished or it is still very noisy
3 portals, 4 wall, LR sky (sun sky)

MLT + + lowdisracy render = sampler = 4 + = bidir 8 8 0 0 + one + = Vi + accelerator = multi QVBH

dice that there is transparency, wavelength, caustics, IOR or values, or textures, Luxrender is Good but is SLOWWWwwwwwwww,
my computer especially...4.2ghz 8 cores
how many cores for use render luxrender 8 16 32 64 128 ?
Hybrid ?

how can people do to reduce the effect of radiosity .. red object on white wall
and also have shadows with sun & sky only active

please take in mind that luxrender is a unbiased full spectral render.....
don't expect miracle in delivering fast neat free of noise images.
it's slow slow slow..... like every unbiased render.
hybrid is faster.... but not fully working... faster means you can at last half the render time.
render time is ram and processor dependent... your is a slow machine.

You cannot reduce the effect as LuxRender will calculate the effect as it would appear in the real world; there is no way to override this.

I'm not sure what you're trying to ask here; if you have a sun you should have shadows. If instead of a sun you're using a hdri map as the main light source shadows may not be very strong, but they should be there. Similarly to the comment above, there is no way to switch off shadows.
