This thread will be updated with the latest releases of the new 'LuxMax Internal' render plugin.

Luxmax setup packages for 3dsmax can be downloaded here:

hi guys.. i recently cleaned my system upgraded from win7 to win 10.. i think it is a milestone in windows's os..
it is unbelievable that my firefox went from using 1.2GB on win7 down to 500MB, of course same opened tabs, pinned tabs, runing addons etc
it run faster and blabla :D anyway.. i have to install 3ds max.. 2016 is out and as i see there is support for 2015 only..
i will wait then for my time ;)

The plugin is compatible with max 2016 when compiled with 2015 SDK, so you can install as normal, just point the installer to the 2016 install dir.
In future release we will give a notice about that during installation.

hi guys i'm back.. and i may test from time to time..
may i ask to add the date to the LuxMax-Setup.zip, like LuxMax-Setup_26-Aug-15.zip ?
so it is easier to recognize if one is already running the latest release or not . thanks :)

Yeah we can do that. Maybe it will be version number on zip file and visible in the plugin GUI instead of date, but
it will do the same job - showing you easily if you are running the latest.

I have put this in the bug tracker.

This doesn´t work for me. 3ds Max 2014 x64.

That's because it's not compiled for that version.
Look at the text by the download link:
LuxMax Integrated 3dsmax 2015 x64


We are two developers, so we do not have time to support so many max versions, so currently we support max 2015 x64, and the plugin works in 2016 x64 as well (plugins compiled for 2015 works in 2016 without being recompiled.).
Those are the two versions we will support.

I was looking forward to testing this build.
I've installed the build on 3dsmax 2016 and I have an error during start up.
"failed to initialize, Error code 126."
I've installed the recommend redist.
