Daily Builds

The binaries below has not been updated for a long time. Your best source of a recent build is, at the moment, the LuxCore binary SDK: viewtopic.php?f=30&t=13329

LuxRender daily builds from the very latest sources are available here:

- Windows: http://www.luxrender.net/release/builds/1.7/windows/
- MacOS: http://www.luxrender.net/release/builds/1.7/osx/
- Linux (available soon): http://www.luxrender.net/release/builds/1.7/linux/

Hi Dade,

Is the new Luxcore included in these builds?
I ask, as I use blender(win7- 64) to access Luxrender, and the Luxblend included only gives options for classic api.

Note: the builds are provided by Pciccone (http://www.preta3d.com), I'm asking if they include pyluxcore.so, in case they don't, it is a "bug".

It could be possible but they are daily builds and they have to be handled with some care: they can and will be often broken as the result of some in progress development. It is not a good idea to install them system wide, you should have a stable (or well tested build) as solid base than you can try (because of new features or some bug fix you need) daily builds. After all, LuxRender doesn't require any special installation, you can keep any number of versions you want/need.

pyluxcore is included.
The builds are installable, and as complete as I can tell . For Windows there are four variants: 64-bit with and without OCL, 32-bit with and without OCL. The OS X build is 64-bit only and, of course, OpenCL enabled.

As we started this procsss just now, please let me know if you find anything out of place. The idea is to have consistent and high-quality builds automatically.

With this system we have new builds just a few hours after any chage in the LuxRays or LuxRender code. The builds kick in at midnight UTC.

Cheers.
