I'm using the python3 version in blender 2.5 for win32. I wasn't able to get it to work by putting it under addons. When I put the pylux.pyd under <blender dir>\2.5X\scripts\io\luxrender\ it worked. Here's the output on launch:
- Code: Select all
found bundled python: C:\PROGRA~1\blender\latest\2.53\python
[EF 2010-Sep-07 16:10:48] ExporterFramework detected and loaded from C:\PROGRA~1

Exactly which version of Blender 2.5 do you have? I personally have not seen any errors like this with any recent build on windows or linux.

I'm using Blender 2.53.1 r31725 for Win32. I think some of the errors could be related to the SmallLuxGPU exporter I have installed. I have the ef and luxblend25 from a couple days ago.

I just updated my exporter framework and luxblend25 from the hg and git repositories and pylux seems to work fine now. Guess it was just a bug.

I put the Pylux file in the right place, but are you supposed to see it in blender?
