There isn't a 'core file'. The LuxRender downloads are served directly. Which files in particular are you referring to ?

I'm guessing he's referring this when you try and download a zip/tarball of a repo:

In that case, go look at the Mercurial source code; However, I am not going to patch the version we are running on the server, it it too important a piece of software to mess with.

It´s simply a fact that for some filetypes the progressbar does not "esimate" loading times.
It may appear as stalled, but is not, you see from the other activity stats.

Hi,

Actually there's no file size transmitted to the client because it is not known, the data is generated on the fly.

Khm, the file is packed or whatever then it should know the file size and then it could transmit to the browser.
Its some soft of bug or outdated software.

As far as I know the output from tar+gzip (or similar) is piped directly to the socket, and as such is never stored on disk on the server.

I just cant understand you guys.
It feel like you cant change something because you just want to stick to wrong one.
I don't know python language that much, but I think it would be a shame if it wouldn't be able to construct proper headers.... Dont you think so.
What is this stubborn ignorance going around everywhere?
You acting like the Firefox dev team. They release the new version of Firefox and it cant login into joomla website because they fucked up something in it. Now the joomla has to change or the Firefox to fix the problem?
