What's the job of the second S/s display?

Postby B.Y.O.B. » Thu Jun 21, 2012 6:26 am

Hi,

I just resumed a render from an .flm-file and saw that there's a second S/s stat displayed at the end of the statistics line:
sdfsdf.png
sdfsdf.png (5.56 KiB) Viewed 328 times

Bug or feature? :)

regards

Feature:
The S/s shows local "renderspeed" whereas the Tot: S/s shows the renderspeed from all nodes attached + local. So yes: using only the Master it is redundant, but hey .... ;)
The S/p shows the result from actual render-session whereas the Tot: S/s shows the complete samples from resumed film + actual render-session ( + also network contributions if used )

Ok, so it comes from the network rendering.

Yeah, it isn't annoying or something.
