LuXSI 1.0 Released

LuXSI 1.0 has been released!!

Following the line of the latest version, we used the same numbering used by LuxRender.
This release does not have too many changes, but very relevant.
You can download LuXSI with LuxRender (great job with the installer, guys!)
The exporter can also download from this thread. As always, with the latest developments and tests.

If someone is willing to compile x64 versions, I will be pleased to provide you with all the means at my disposal.

Changelog:

- Updated syntax to LuxRender 1.0
Scenes created with earlier versions may not work properly with this version.

- Revised the code for 'area light'
The 'area light' is now controlled with the global panel, except 'scale' which uses the object's interface 'light'.

- Started support particles
Supports 'pointclouds', exporting the LuxRender 'sphere' primitive for each particle.
Currently missing support for animation, so exports only frame by frame.

- Redesigned user interface.
New distribution options, preparing the interface to support animation and particles.
The 'Path to LuxRender' option should only specify the folder where the LuxRender binary is located, not the ".exe" itself.

- Added new panel "About."

With the new release has begun developing particle holder.
Even a very basic model, using spheres, but hopefully soon, with support for "instances", we can create more complex particles.
And of course, we need support for animation.
Some example images ..

Finally, LuXSI Preview Material. It is a work in progress, but it looks good.
It remains to refactor the nodes that were created for version 0.6.1 of LuXSI.

Hi,

Great to see that exporter moving on. I think we might try to release v1.1 when you're satisfied with LuXSI satte so that we can more clearly advertise the update. Keep us informed of your progress.

Hi Jeanphi..
I would like to have more advanced support for particles and animation. Another important goal is to export binary PLY format to reduce file sizes.
Also need to review the materials and textures.
And of course, I find help to get binaries for x64-bit systems.
