Regards..
Though it has not been long since the last release, there is enough material to publish another version.
Also, by the way, is not bad to follow the cycle of releases by LuxRender.

LuXSI 1.1 Release changelog..
Improved support for PLY files.
- * Added 'override geometry' option, very useful in large scenes.
- With 'override geometry' can change lights or materials
without having to re-export the entire scene.
- * Now we can use the PLY format for exporting geometry for use in animations.

- Added support for animation.
- * Now, when you export the animation, LuXSI creates a. lqx
that is loaded automatically in LuxRender, to render animation immediately.
- (In future versions,you we choose "Export Anim" or "Render Anim")
- * Added option 'framestep' you can export part of frames or entire animation (frame step 1).

Added compilation a plugin for systems with SSE2 extensions (32-bit).

- Added x64 versions of the plugin for Softimage 2010, 2011 and 2013
(not tested with versions Softimage 2012).
Thank you very much to the user "l_cymer" for his invaluable contribution to LuXSI.

- Updating the shaders.
- Added shader libraries for all these x64 versions of Softimage.

- Added GUI option to enable debug messages.
- Deleting the option " Hybrid" in "Engine type", not to create confusion for users.
(In LuXSI not added, for now, support for this format)

LuXSIv1.1_2010-2013_for_Windows.xsiaddon.7z
Addon format file for all Softimage Windows versions x86 and x64.
(also tested in 7.5 x86 version!!)
Not include LuxRender binaries

Install from zip files
Small guide for donwload and install...
The file "LuXSI 1.1 Exporter.7z" is a 'base download' for all systems.
The others X64 versions, also need this file to work.
The workflow could be:
For x64:
- Unzip "LuXSI 1.1 Exporter.7z" in the folder ".. \ user \ Autodesk \ Softimage_version \ Addons \"
- Download the plugin file for your version of Softimage x64 (2010, 2011, etc. ..).
- Unzip the file in the folder ..\ user \ Autodesk \ Softimage_version \ Addons \ LuXSI \ Application \ Plugins \ nt-x86-64

For x86 (32 bits):
- Unzip "LuXSI 1.1 Exporter.7z" in the folder ".. \user\Autodesk\Softimage_version\Addons\"

Finally..

Set the path to your installation folder LuxRender in LuXSI GUI

Hi everyone, version for 2010 x64 works with SI 2011/12/13 too (plugin and shaders). I prepare .xsiaddon package for easy installation (without luxrender executables - only plugins and shaders for x86 and x64 platform):

It's two bugs (at least in x64 version):

1) Plugin do not export "lux_plastic" shader. SI display error: "ERROR : Non valid shader for LuxRender: [ lux_plastic ]. Use the default shader values" and LuxRender render geometry with matte material.
2) Selecting "White" preset in "lux_car_paint" shader may crash Softimage during export.

So, please test this revision and publish yours opinions in this thread.

This issues are fixed in last commits..
Changelog :
From "l_cymer" collaborator:
'shinymetall' typo error. (l_cymer fix).
Detect 'bug' in 'lux_car_paint': index out of range in pressets.( fix ).
Detect 'lux_plastic' deprecated from actual Lux version (1.1) (pendent)
Refine some code for shaders.
Sync tab format in output .lxm files.

The only negative part to release a new version is that you always have something in the code, you'd like to include. But, at some point you have to say! Enough!. Freeze updates and compile the release version.
The part positive is that it indicates that the project does not stop for a release, and are continue adding more improvements and new features.
