Mitsuba renderer

Just stumbled over this one over at ompf.org: http://www.mitsuba-renderer.org/

It's a GPL physically based renderer just released - seems pretty nice and has quite a few interesting features (haven't tested it myself yet though). Not sure if it supports any 3rd party file formats/exporters yet.

Hi guys!!

Following the thread about Mitsuba on Blender nation ( http://www.blendernation.com/2010/11/24 ... ent-540134 ) just for testing.
I merged Mitsuba with the updated version of Blender posted on the forum ( viewtopic.php?f=30&t=4247) But I get some errors once I switched back to LuxRender , the material types weren't available.

Any ideas ?

Hehe Seems like Mitsuba is coming along nicely in general, though the author states it primarily is/will remain his research testbed. Lets see if he manages to convince the BA hordes about *that*
