I bet it's not as long as grass in SW England. But then, the local councils haven't had the verges cut for months.

Yeah, some park owners in my down cut the grass to root level,
so they save money but it look ugly because there is more soil visible than grass.

But this year grass just started growing, we ned some good rain.
