Looks good! :D
In the LXS files there isn't any noticeable difference. The problem was that the golden bar wasn't visible because I modified the chessboard model and moved it a bit higher, and forgot to move the bar, too.

Added the balcony.

Again, I need help rendering https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=DB396504EF066AB!682
There isn't much time left and I'm also testing the night-time version.

Hey.

I have edited a few parameters on your scene before rendering.

Particularly these ones:
Code: Select all
   "integer writeinterval" [180]
   "integer flmwriteinterval" [250]
   "integer haltspp" [500]

To these:
Code: Select all
   "integer writeinterval" [900]
   "integer flmwriteinterval" [900]
   "integer haltspp" [0]

I am currently cooking it on two nodes in the lab. You can check the state of things here anytime you wish:

node 1- http://cg.iit.bme.hu/~zsolnai/render/ch ... .00001.flm
http://cg.iit.bme.hu/~zsolnai/render/ch ... .00001.png

node 2 - http://cg.iit.bme.hu/~zsolnai/render/ch ... .00001.flm
http://cg.iit.bme.hu/~zsolnai/render/ch ... .00001.png

The film and the result image will be updated every 15 minutes.

Update: the first rendered images are available, I have put links to them in the previous post. Feel free to merge the two films together to obtain better results.

thank you.
You're right about that. I don't like the borders a lot. Today I'll edit that part.
You can stop your servers, if you haven't yet, but keep the flm files as i haven't downloaded them yet.

Sure. I have just stopped them, the latest films are chessday1_old.flm and chessday2_old.flm (around 1.3k s/p each):

If you have a newer version of the scene, just post it here again. If you have done only minor changes, you may also try rendering it in a lower resolution as a fast preview version.
