LuxRender in the Poser 10 Box

Postby pciccone » Fri May 24, 2013 5:17 pm

Hello.

A slightly different version of this card is now included in every box of the new Poser 10/Poser Pro 2014:

http://www.runtimedna.com/newsletter/2013_05_24/index.html

You can see in the lower-right corner that it says: "Visualized in Poser and rendered by Lux via the Reality plug-in"

This is an initiative by RuntimeDNA, which has designed the graphics and paid for its placement. It gives excellent exposure to Lux to all users of the new version of Poser.

Plus the graphics is prominently used at the RuntimeDNA site.

Another step toward Lux world domination :)

Hi,

Great news! Thanks for the heads up. And let me say that you did a great job to get to that result.

And you have worked very hard to give us such wonderful renderer.

This is a success, IMHO, in showing how OSS and commercial software can work together and achieve great things.
In the past three years Reality and LuxRender have changed the landscape of the Poserverse. It doesn't happen often.

Cheers.

This is truly great. Most people view the open source community as a second rate citizen, something that the "real world" would never use. Truly great success indeed!
