I copied these into the "luxrender" addon folder like usual.
If I replace pylux.pyd with the 1.4RC1 version it works.

Sorry for the delay, but here's my builds. Inside the self-extracting 7zip archive there's a luxblend zip which you can install (or extract and mess around with manually). Please let me know if that works better. FWIW it works fine for me.

Thanks for these great things, you've done an enormous amunt of work guys, and the result is superb!! :D Can't wait to use it in it's final and ready stage with a proper luxblend. BiasPath is great for interior shots, I missed something like it before. All in all: thumbs up!!

Howdy LordCRC... it works, with caveats:

- the material image preview works in luxrender1.0 api, but in luxcore (2.0 api) it messes it up.

I'll look for more, and as always, big thanks for what you do :)

The material preview is something that has yet to be written for LuxBlend API 2.0.

So I've a question ! Why release new version of lux if normal user can't test and try it as there's no working exporter to help !
the new luxcore is so great and when we look at new release we can't easily play with ... snif

Can you expand on that?

Reason I ask is that I'm currently rendering a scene which uses LuxCore right now, and I'm doing it with the 1.4RC2 builds I posted here.

did this mean that luxblend for 1.4RC2 is fine and expose all feature needed to work seriously ?

1/how do you get fast viewport preview like cycles gpu
2/ viewport preview for me don't match the selected rendering mod
3/ when I work with a scene with this build my sun orientation for example is not exported
4/ material preview is strange

please help me am i wrong with my settings or installation ?

I finally understand it 's not the 1.4RC2 from the luxrender download page it 's a new build you're posted recently ! so i've to read all the entire thread but I've hope !

but what can 'i expet from your build ? what are the missing things ? want to know if i can use this build for some of my current project !

It has already been said multiple times: LuxBlend 1.x API + OpenCL rendering modes (a.k.a. LuxCoreRenderer) are stable and production-ready (support most Lux features, but no viewport rendering and real-time scene updates); LuxBlend 2.x API is in heavy development and can't be used in production by general audience at the moment. If you'd like to see development at a faster pace, consider joining the dev team, or donate a sensible sum which we could use to hire a full-time addon developer.
