Yes, it crashes in weightBoundary because... yeah I'll get back to you on that one.

edit: I have no clue why

That patch should be the one fixing things up, could you confirm it?

I've updated the Windows builds with the loopsubdiv crash fix from jeanphi. If you've had issues, please grab the new ones. URL is the same.

Hello dear devs,

I have been absent for a little while now from Lux and Blender but want to come back in the game a bit. Yesterday I downloaded this very version of luxrender and luxblend and ran into the issue with the material preview tab. I applied th fixed 'preview_scene.py' but Blender still crashes as soon as I change to aformentioned tab.
What did I miss? Thanks in advance for any help!

This appears to be one nasty bug. Maybe you can try RC1 and its luxblend instead, which should work just fine.

I see you're using boost 1.54, we've not tested this version of boost and there could be issues with it, unless someone else can confirm it is working.
Are you compiling LuxRender yourself or do you use a precompiled binary?

I used the precompiled binary from the download section.

Ouch that's not good. Boost 1.54 will almost certainly not work as-is, due to massive changes in Boost.Thread (and possibly other places).
