the shaders library are Apache 2.0 License... see post: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3984&start=10#p45514
so they can be used on free and commercial 3d application.... and they are a little bit more complex compared to the one shipped with 3d packages!
this give a certain warranty to Luxrender user to move/migrate through 3d application... by maintaining the same work art!
