A material library has been started by dougal2. Currently (as of 19th August 2008) the system is still very much in the design and prototyping phase.
If any experienced PHP/MySQL/HTML/JavaScript/CSS(/Python on the side) developers would like to help with the development of this interesting side-project (there are some nice unique features planned ;), please PM dougal2 via the forum for details.
The more people committing development time, the quicker it'll get done :)
