I started the rendering with this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/75384751/spheres.7z
It's a 1920*1080 image.
160 samples/hours on my two CPU.
And I love your background texture.

I assure you that it is an inappropriate texture. It is so low resolution, the filesize is like 26k. I don't know what I was thinking!

Btw, this is an "Asking for render time" topic, I see that a lot of example renders on that could have used some help in rendering. This is expected, since not many of us have enough resources (or the patience) to render this amount of scenes. Check this one for instance:
http://www.luxrender.net/wiki/Gold_material

And also, I guess new examples are going to appear soon in here: http://www.luxrender.net/wiki/New_in_1.0

So, I would like everyone to know I'm here to help when anyone is up to something new. Just ask!

I have only managed to do 11k since you last post. That's a lot of help, thank you SATtva!

The previous batches will be available for anyone who would like to merge them in about half an hour (uploading). Get them here: http://cg.iit.bme.hu/~zsolnai/batches
The "_merged-used.flm" file is my old merged version, you can disregard that.
