Volumetric Scattering (god rays) problem

I'm banging my head against the wall to get scattering working, checked all the normals and materials 100 times... using the latest wekly testing build + blender 2.60a Some how months back I was able to get it working with Lux 0.8, but now it just refuses to appear.

Ops, had my Glass Mesh (the one I use as a scattering switcher) checked as an Exit Portal. I wil never get those 2 hours back :(
