Except for a couple of items all of this stuff is present in Lux.

Yeah, most of it was in Fry as well, I believe. Fry/Arion have a similar relationship as Lux/SLG.

Microdisplacement on the GPU is very cool, though...

Yes i noticed that in particular, but i was told its not possible in luxrenders way of working.

I think you misunderstood that. It's perfectly possibly to have MD performed on the GPU, the case is someone has to implement this.
