Let viewers play with light groups?

What I mean is if one renders something with multiple light groups, lux can export all those as separate images. is there something that one could do that would let people turn sets of lights on and off without them seeing its actually multiple layers?

Do you mean having a (new) external image viewer able to support lightgroups (i.e. without having all the LuxRender code) ?

You can already export all lightgroups seperate and adjust them in layers in Gimp for example.

Yes on a web page is what I meant, have a serious of interactive buttons that would allow people to turn certain lights on and off. However I do not know if that is possible with just the exported light groups of an image or if I would have to export every possible combination. I would imagine there is something out there could be a self contained image that is interactive and would be able to do that with the layers.

Hi,

It is possible to composite multiple lights with "screen" blendmode, the results is not too bad if the image have the same linear tonemapping, and allows to use only one image/light. The blending can be done in flash or with javascript+canvas to be displayed online.

I experimented a bit with this idea here, the blending is during transition, it is very wip but i would like to add more control/features.
