Fun with IES generator

I just figured id show this since I started to play with the IES generator software.

just some fun messing with the variables in IES creation...

light rings from a single point light with no mesh filters.

As for the generator I am using I its ies_gen3 from the link in the Luxrender Wiki.

Now if I used some very small Plane meshes I bet I could get just the rings and not the glow of the point light.

I agree, to me that glow makes it look like some kind of energy construct.

Ok keeping the glow and made some changes.

This is a very early render of a custom IES light with some added fun...
