Would it be possible to start the next competition during the voting of this one? That way we don't have to wait a month between competitions! :)

Aahh, come on...
  • wood is (in my opinion) the best looking texture you can use in Lux
  • The Ivy-Generator is a very good tool to use with Lux
  • The capabilities of the *new* glossytranslucent-material can be shown
...and last but not least: there are many images in the gallery that contain plants, so it can't be THAT difficult ;)

yaeh ur right, but if you could use some things like tree from curves or ivy generator i doesn't make much sense, does it?
On the other side, its not a modelling competition!

You just got it on your own :)
LuxRender is only the renderer, how you model isn't relevant for the competition.
