Hi,
Newbie here. Have iMac i5 w ATI Rad HD4850, on 10.6.6 - up to date with latest OS X updates.
Installed your Feb 01 packet - a life saver (thx), as those *.py files no clue what to do with those.
SLG runs under 2.56a, except for option 3 (pure GPU) - there it crashes.

Used a new made simple Monkey scene under 2.56, plus the kitchen import from 2.49 - both crash under option 3 , and render under all other options. Say it is rendering around 5500-6000K rays/sec , with 4 threads on Native (700 each) and 1 on Radeon around 3000 K rays/sec - on optin 1 path CPU/GPU render.

Seems to run as fast on MBPro 17 with Nvidea GT8600M. Same crash on option 3 there.
Is there anything I am doing wrong ? Is there anything I can check to validate install ? Can I get it to run faster ?

Thx
Jo

correction. MBPro 17 2.4Ghz w GT8600M does about 1700 K Rays/sec. Still is it normal to crash under <3> ?

Hi asterix

Some combinations too do not work for me ( not implemented or not supported with ATI ? )
with ><3> == pathpgu don´t use MQBVH accelerator.

You may get more help in the GPU forums, for i haven´t used SLG as much the last weeks.
I do more concetrate on LuxRender itself atm.

Cheers Jens
