I can't say it was a hard decision. I had my top 3 well defined.

Special comment for "Double AA hiding spot".I didn't vote for this one, but it's the funniest secret space concept.
I hope you don't actually do that... hahahahaha

Nope, I don't actually do that. But for some reason when I read the topic and it said "The one place only you know about", the hidden beer idea was all I could think of. 8-)

I also want to congratulate everyone! It was very hard to vote on just 3.

And it was a brilliant idea. Probably the most creative interpretation of theme, imho. ;)

I admit I voted for BC's render, he always starts out rough but in the end turns out something shockingly photo-real, this is of course a IRC bias as I can watch the piece grow and evolve, but at the same time I am very happy other entries are getting a lot of votes. Even tho its not literally fair I think it would be bad form for the master of ceremonies to win two in row. These comps have given the luxrender community a kind of focus that I think has been lacking and I just want to thank BC for his positive energy and moderation in relation to these comps. I think he has made a real contribution.

I hope after the splash screen comp we can move forward with more of these.

I looking forward to submitting my idea for a comp, something I have always wanted as a theme which scattering now makes possible. The theme of Meat.

We have a winner!

Everyone congratulate B.Y.O.B. on winning the Secret Spaces competition. Everyone did a fantastic job, you all have exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to more great work from you all (and hopefully from some new faces).

Thank you all for voting for my picture :)
I'm even happier as this is my first competition in cg stuff at all :D

Edit: And I think I'll sign in at blenderrenders.com soon ...hope they support dots in nicknames... ;)
Edit2: I'm not sure if asking here is ok - but I'll ask:
I'm still under 18 years old (only a few months missing), that's the age you get fully "business-able" in Germany. Is that a problem? I think I need some kind of account to pay the renders and so on...
