Luxball ported to 2.5 *DEPRECATED FOR LUXBALL5*

DEPRECATED THREAD IS DEPRECATED! Use Luxball5 instead, it's better: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5527

This is a work-in-progress of making a 2.5 version of the luxball scene. You can download the latest version here: LOL NO YOU CAN'T

NOTE: I did not model this scene, I only did materials and lighting. It was created from a 2.49 scene I got from LordCrc, no idea what its history was before that.

IMPORTANT: Some API change in Blender or mat/emission system change in LuxBlend25 will almost certainly break this in the near future. I'll try to keep an updated version at the above Dropbox link, but no guarantees.

Update Jan 23rd: Updated for the overhauled volume parameters. This updates's featured material is a procedural marble material, by request of BinaryCortex.

Maybe this scene could be upload to the test scenes repository as well as the latest 2.49 version of the scene?

I compared this version with the 2.5 version: the wattage and efficiency of the area lights don't match. The lights are too bright in the 2.49 version.

Yeah, he has a correct version somewhere, I know because we were talking about it in IRC last night. That's not it though.

Here is the updated one. Suzanne is on layer 3 and the actual luxball is on layer 2. It is currently set to display Suzanne with micro displacement.
