Maybe once the product is officially launched... in the mean time, I posted an example for a range hood (which we also make) in the Finished Work forum.

There is actually 16 variants of this product (different brands, ports on the side instead of the top, etc...) So we used Lux instead of an expensive photo shoot for the images that will be used in the product literature.

The product is not on the market yet but will be very soon. I might post some more images in the Finished Work forum when to product comes out.

Looks like one of those machines used to bring fresh air into the HVAC system in homes that are built really tight and have no leaks to bring in recovery air on their own.

That's exactly it! A must in cold climates.

Hm I guess it's being rebuilt to accomodate the massive changes that came with Lux v0.8 (or should I better say with LuxBlend 2.5)...?

LB25 is part of it, but it has needed an overhaul for a while. I think the problem was that it didn't support some of the new material features, but I'm not 100% positive on that.

that is true, I will note though that in the LBM you posted something labeled as Nickle located on the r: drive will cause errors if someone tries to use that material on their own.

You are right again. I was sure I posted a version that used shinymetal instead of metal. Anyway, I updated my first post to add the missing file and a version that uses shinymetal instead.

No, that's for xrays.

What we need is complex refractive index data. More commonly known as nk data. According to this page the data for zinc should be in the sopra database but for some reason it's not, but searching for the file names directly in google, I struck gold! So here is nk data for Zinc.

There is 2 files depending on the crystalline orientation. Test renders show that there isn't much of a difference.
