Hey all,
I didn't know where to start this topic...
I don't know if there are some limitations for Luxrender about license etc... so I hope to do not something wrong.
today I find an interesting site about rendering challenges... I'm sure that the site isn't a news for the most of you...
anyway here you go:
http://www.3drender.com/challenges/
there are 24 basics scenes used for the challenge... the scenes are free, accessible to all... depending by the scene...
for example the Lighthouse are in follow formats...
Download Cinema 4D file
Download 3DS file
Download Max 2009 file
Download Blender file
Download Lightwave LWO
Download Maya 2008 .ma file
Download Softimage XSI file
Download OBJ file
Download FBX file
each scene is linked to the related challenge gallery... with awesome renders.. very inspiring.
if some one are interested to start periodically a LuxRender Competition based on the 24 scenes...
here is a screen shoot of the mad Science challenge gallery
